What is Step Up for Deaf Kids?
Step Up for Deaf Kids is a community fundraising challenge where you can get active and raise funds to support deaf and hard of hearing children and their families to access essential services and resources, ensuring kids have the same opportunities as their hearing peers.
This November, join us as we get active and take on the challenge to walk, jog or run 300,000 steps in 30 days. Are you up for the challenge?

Get active and challenge yourself to complete 300,000 steps in 30 days.
Track your steps and record them on your free Steps Tracker Calendar.

Once you’ve registered for the challenge, please join the Step Up for Deaf Kids Facebook group, so you can get to know your fellow fundraisers and share your journey with us!

Register today to receive your very own FREE cap and steps tracker calendar as part of your welcome pack. Follow the prompts to set up your very own Facebook fundraiser (it’s super quick and easy), so you can rally your friends and family to support your journey and donate to your fundraiser.
Everyone is welcome to the join the challenge, the more the merrier! You can take the steps alone, or band together with your pals for a group challenge.

Be sure to add photos, write about why you’re choosing to Step Up and invite your family and friends and let them know why you’re taking part in the challenge.
Thanks for registering! We will be collating registrations and posting out your welcome packs weekly, so your welcome pack may take up to 2 weeks to arrive from the time you register. If yours is taking longer than this, please reach out to us at fundraising@deafchildren.org.au and we can help track it down for you.
You can absolutely start promoting your fundraiser, recruiting team members, and asking for donations as soon as you register. Get the momentum rolling!
We do encourage you to track your steps in November, as this is this is when the official event takes place and it’s the best way to be a part of the community taking action and raising funds for deaf and hard of hearing kids across the country.
