DCA's Partners and Supporters

Deaf Children Australia is supported by our amazing Partners, who help us to raise awareness and to inspire and empower deaf and hard of hearing children and young people to reach their full potential. Our Partners help us to achieve this vision, and together, we continue to work toward creating a better world for deaf and hard of hearing children and young people.

Through the support of our Partners, we have been able to create our range of Platypus Playhouse resources – supporting deaf and hard of hearing young people aged 0-4 to learn Auslan. Our Partners have also helped us to connect families in both Queensland and Victoria with our Parent Mentor Program, connecting families with deaf and hard of hearing children to others who share their experiences.

Deaf Children Australia is thankful for the support of the following Partners:

Thank you to the CMV Group Foundation for helping to fund our Victorian Family camp. It provides a unique opportunity for families to come together, to learn from each other and the kids love playing with kids like them.

The Gambling Community Benefit Fund has partnered with Deaf Children Australia to support our Family Camp in Queensland. Thank you for helping families with deaf and hard of hearing children to make new friends while engaging with fun activities.

The Collier Charitable Fund provided a grant to help us produce Platypus Playhouse storybooks and complete Auslan translations of the books (videos). These bilingual fun based learning resources feature Auslan and English, to build language and connections for families and their deaf or hard of hearing child. Thank you.

Thank you to the William Angliss Charitable Fund – who have provided a grant to Deaf Children Australia to help create Auslan translations for our Platypus Playhouse storybooks for deaf and hard of hearing children aged from 0-4 – helping to provide language to deaf or hard of hearing children.

The Brian M Davis
Charitable Foundation

The Brian M Davis Charitable Foundation has provided a grant to support Deaf Children Australia’s Platypus Playhouse storybooks for deaf and hard of hearing children aged 0-4, helping to fund their Auslan translations. Thank you.

Equity Trustees and the Estate of David Taylor Galt have supported Deaf Children Australia in creating our Platypus Playhouse project. Thank you for helping deaf and hard of hearing children aged 0-4 years to learn Auslan!

Thank you to The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne – who partner with Deaf Children Australia to help Victorian babies born with hearing loss and their families to connect with DCA’s Parent Mentor Program.

Children’s Health, Queensland Hospital and Health Service partners with Deaf Children Australia (DCA) to help Queensland babies with hearing loss and their families connect with DCA’s Parent Mentor Program. Thanks for your support!
