Corporate Partnerships Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated corporate partnerships professional to help build and grow the partnerships portfolio of a respected Melbourne for-purpose organisation. This sales-oriented role will suit someone who is confident identifying, pitching and securing new corporate partners, and is looking for autonomy within a supportive team environment. The role is three days per week and includes one work-from-home day, on-site car parking and support from an experienced leadership team.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for developing, managing and growing the organisation’s portfolio of corporate partnerships. The focus is on building mutually beneficial relationships across the corporate sector to generate income, increase awareness and contribute to the organisation’s mission, through sponsorships, workplace giving, cause-related marketing and strategic partnerships.

This is a genuinely sales-oriented role. You will identify and research target partners whose values align with the organisation’s mission, get past the gatekeepers to reach decision-makers, and turn cold prospects into long-term advocates. You will prepare targeted proposals and pitches, negotiate sponsorship arrangements, and then steward those relationships with the kind of ongoing communication and impact reporting that drives renewal and uplift.

You will work closely with the Marketing and Communications team on partnership campaigns, activations and event participation, manage the CRM pipeline and revenue forecasts, and contribute to broader fundraising initiatives and organisational priorities.

Work arrangements

The role is offered on a Full Time basis. It is based at the organisation’s St Kilda Road office, with one work-from-home day per week and flexibility around partner meetings and external events. On-site car parking is available.

The arrangement is well-suited to a fundraising professional looking for a focused, meaningful role with genuine work–life balance.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Strong experience in corporate fundraising, corporate partnerships or business development, ideally combining a corporate sales mindset with a strong understanding of the not-for-profit sector.
  • A demonstrated track record of identifying corporate prospects, breaking through to key decision-makers, and converting them into committed partners against income targets.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, communications, fundraising or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong proposal, presentation and negotiation skills, with the confidence to represent the organisation in front of senior corporate stakeholders.
  • Excellent relationship management and stewardship instincts, the ability to build trust quickly and sustain it over the long term.
  • Strong organisational and project management capability, with the discipline to manage a pipeline, multiple campaigns and tight deadlines concurrently.
  • High proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, and confidence using data to inform pipeline strategy and reporting.
  • Genuine alignment with the organisation’s purpose and respect for Deaf culture and the DHH community (knowledge of these communities will be highly regarded).
  • Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain), and a valid working visa.
  • Open to learning Auslan

Bequest Coordinatior

We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional to lead the bequest and legacy giving program of a long-established Melbourne for-purpose organisation. This senior, relationship-led role will suit someone who is confident building meaningful donor relationships and is seeking flexibility within a supportive team environment. The role is three days per week and includes one work-from-home day, on-site car parking and support from an experienced leadership team

Learn More

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the Bequest Coordinator is responsible for designing, delivering and growing the organisation’s bequest and legacy giving program. The role focuses on building trusted, long-term relationships with supporters who are considering leaving a gift in their Will — ensuring a sensitive, ethical and strategic approach aligned with the organisation’s mission.

This is a relationship-led role rather than a transactional one. Day to day you will identify and cultivate bequest prospects from the existing donor base and wider community, host site visits and conversations with prospective supporters, develop multi-channel collateral (including Auslan-accessible content) in partnership with the marketing team, liaise with solicitors, executors and trustees on estate matters, and integrate legacy giving into the organisation’s broader fundraising strategy. You will also maintain CRM records, work alongside the finance team to track estate income, and report regularly to the Head of Fundraising.

Work arrangements

The role is offered on a 0.6 FTE basis (three days per week). It is based at the organisation’s St Kilda Road office, with one work-from-home day per week and flexibility around supporter and client meetings. On-site car parking is available.

The arrangement is well-suited to a fundraising professional looking for a focused, meaningful role with genuine work–life balance.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Strong experience in the not-for-profit sector, with a strong track record in individual giving and major gifts. Direct bequest management experience is not essential — but you must have the gravitas, sector knowledge and donor-care instincts to lead supporters thoughtfully toward a gift in their Will.
  • Tertiary qualifications in fundraising, marketing, communications, business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated success in building and stewarding long-term donor relationships, with the empathy and discretion that legacy conversations require.
  • Sound understanding of donor engagement principles; awareness of estate planning or gifts-in-Wills practice will be highly regarded.
  • Confidence with CRM systems, donor reporting, and managing confidential information with care.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Genuine alignment with the organisation’s purpose and respect for Deaf culture and the DHH community (knowledge of these communities will be highly regarded).
  • Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain), and a valid working visa.
