Paddock to Plate - tour of QV Market

Paddock to Plate is the ultimate foodie's tour. You'll go behind the scenes of the Queen Victoria Market to discover the history, multicultural influences and the many ways it has shaped Melbourne's food culture. It will be delivered face to face for Secondary school deaf and hard of hearing youth. It will take place on Thu 15 April, 2021 during the school holidays. EVENT FULL. DCA is inviting deaf and hard of hearing youth aged 16-18 years from all of Australia to a free online gathering where you will get the opportunity to connect with your peers. Join us for a casual hangout, take part in activities, learn from our mentors and discuss what being in lockdown and navigating Covid restrictions mean to you. But also feel free to discuss anything you want and meet new friends! This is a FREE event.

DCA is offering deaf and hard of hearing children aged 8-11 from across Australia a free opportunity to reach out and connect in this time of extended lockdowns, Covid restrictions and social distancing. Chase the Thrill

A fun-filled afternoon for deaf and hard of hearing people aged 12-17 at Melbourne's iconic Luna Park. A great opportunity to enjoy the rides and meet and connect with your peers. *Access to DCA events are subjected to participants adhering to State vaccination regulations and venues policy.*

A family excursion to the Collingwood Children's Farm. Visit the farm, connect with other families - sharing experiences, making new connections and creating opportunities for DHH kids to play with kids like them. (Re)discover your city like you've never experienced it before with this fun cultural walk. Admire some of the city’s most iconic landmarks including its world-renowned street art, and learn why it is regarded as the design and sports capital of Australia.
