Liam Armstrong PLANET FUN A PLACE FOR EVERYONE (NSW)

Tell us how your artwork addresses this year’s theme ’We Belong’:

I created a planet and it is environmentally fair and it is fun for all people who are hearing impaired and vision impaired. They can go to it to have fun and enjoy themselves as they can. All people can go there. Teddy bears are members of the planet association, and they have cute magic and they poof anywhere. They are basically genise and can grant unlimited wishes.

Tell us about the ideas or themes your artwork explored with the theme ‘We Belong’:

In my artwork it explores that anyone who can’t see, if they are an animal, or can’t hear, they can go to this planet and enjoy themselves.

The humans, teddy bears and dinosaurs on my front cover for the artwork are linked together by kindness and peace like the force from Star Wars.

What type of art have you submitted and why:

I submitted an artwork like a picture book to show that anyone can belong. I used braille paper for the perkins brailler to colour draw and write this story. I used puff paint to give it a tactile experience, and I gave it colour because the more rainbow it is the more beautiful it is. I used the writing to explain more about why I did the artwork.
