Tell us how your artwork addresses this year’s theme ’We belong’:   

My artwork addresses the theme “We Belong” by showing a place that represents a community. It includes buildings, trees, and different structures that connect together to form a shared environment.  

This shows that people and places are connected, and everyone has a place where they belong. I used bright colors and different shapes to show how diverse and interesting my world is. It represents how I feel part of a bigger community, not just one place. 

Tell us about the ideas or themes your artwork explored with the theme ‘We belong’:   

My artwork explores the idea that everyone needs a place where they feel safe, accepted, and included. It shows that belonging can be found in family, home, and community. The drawing also explores how people care for each other and share happiness together, which helps create a strong sense of “We Belong”.   

What type of art have you submitted and why? :  

I have submitted a drawing and painting artwork.  

I used a pencil and watercolor paints.  

I chose this medium because it allows me to express my ideas clearly through sketching and to bring the artwork to life with soft colors and textures using watercolor.

I enjoyed making this artwork and thinking about the theme “We Belong”.
