Our online mentor program supports deaf and hard of hearing children to build their confidence and social connections in a safe, engaging and supportive environment.
The first program will be open to teens aged 12 to 15.
Our engaging group mentoring sessions allow young people to explore new experiences, develop strategies for challenges, build lasting friendships with peers and create stronger connections to the deaf community.
All of our mentors have lived experience and are passionate about supporting young people to build self-esteem and encourage social inclusion.
The sessions will take place via online video conferencing. The program is offered in a bilingual environment of Auslan and spoken English.
