This is the inaugural Deaf Children Australia Art Competition dedicated to supporting, promoting and nurturing deaf and hard of hearing young people in their pursuit of creativity.


Deaf Children Australia invites you to join us to celebrate the creative talents of deaf and hard hearing young people at our inaugural Art Competition.

For its first art competition, DCA called all young deaf and hard of hearing artists aged 12-23 to send us their interpretation of this year's theme: This is Me.
Talented artists responded with an eclectic variety of artworks in visual and digital art.

Come and join us to celebrate the contribution of young deaf creators to the art world. You can join us in person or at home via Facebook or our website because we are live streaming the event - #dca_art #deafchildrenaustralia

A panel of eminent judges including Sue Jo Wright, Jodee Mundy OAM, Selwyn Hoffmann, and Irene Holub – selected the winners and runners up. All will be announced at the event together with the winner of the People’s Choice Award.

 **Access to DCA events are subjected to participants adhering to State vaccination regulations and venues policy. Every attended over the age of 12 will need to provide evidence of full vaccination.**
