Deaf Children Australia met with young deaf and hard of hearing people in QLD, Tasmania, WA, NSW and Victoria.

The aims of the meetings were:

• To discover the challenges and barriers deaf youth experience in their everyday lives.
• To share some of the positive and inspirational stories and experiences.
• To promote the deaf youth 'voice' - their experiences and life stories.
• To develop a network of deaf youth across Australia.
• To inform future Deaf Chidren Australia service provision.
