Child and Family Support at Deaf Children Australia is provided to families who have a deaf, hard of hearing or speech dyspraxic child. We aim to support children and families to identify and achieve their goals in keeping with their individual needs and circumstances.

We advocate on behalf of the child and family, refer the child and / or family to relevant services, co-ordinate services and provide emotional support where needed.

We also facilitate parenting programs and may attend various meetings, including meetings at schools.

We have qualifications in Social Work or a related discipline and have knowledge and skills in working with deaf and hard of hearing children, young people and families.
